Velour is a plush soft knit fabric that has a luxurious feel in diapers. We use velour that is 90% cotton and 10% polyester. The polyester is only in the backing of the fabric and it gives the fabric more durability so that it can hold up to frequent washing. Velour has a tendency to stay soft even in hard water and does not hold onto stains like many other fabrics. You will find velour used as an inner layer of our diapers as well as on top of our soakers.
